Video Summarized This video was broken down into three different sections: Wireless Networking, Virtualization and Cloud Computing, and Building a Real-World Network. The first section was partially new to me, but I am somewhat familiar with wireless networks due to hooking up my network at my house. He gave a deep explanation of wireless access points, and how their technology has evolved through time. He then explained how wireless standards have evolved, and what the most current fastest standards are, at this time. He then went into some key information that is needed when setting up a wireless network like the power needed, and how you can hook up a router using power over the ethernet and additional fixes, if that isn’t enough. He then explained current encryption standards, ways to help implement wireless security, and how to identify threats. He also talked about how all modern wireless devices are WPS-enabled, but this can also cause security threats to your systems. He identified problems to your wireless networks that you may encounter, and ways to remove sources of interference.
