Today’s fortune 500 companies run several servers throughout the cities, states and even countries. If even one minute of downtime occurs or data is lost customer even employees will become frustrating and lose interest in the company. Having a data replication managed and maintained is the most important service a company can have these days.
Cross Data Center Replication is a replication of data from cluster to cluster. This can be accomplished by copy and moving application or data from on server to another located outside the business. Primarily use for disaster recovery is to avoid natural disaster and hackers that may intrude. This way a business will have no down time at all. Companies have to strategies what is at their highest priority list. Some steps of what’s most effective and efficient:
1- Separate Your data in tiers: What’s most important to your organization? It should be separated by tiers, tier 0 being most mission critical. Other applications can be Tier 1 and so on.

When configuring one must consider if this conflict may occur. In order to avoid this, you must design a replication environment to avoid the possibility of issues. You must understand the application and its hidden dependencies in order to run the application. Start considering and understand what general requirements of the application will be replicated. What type of replication conflicts can occur? Update conflicts, uniqueness conflicts and delete conflicts. Update conflicts occur when the replication of an update with another update happen to the same file at the same time. Unique Conflicts when replication violates an entity. Delete conflicts happen when two transaction originate from different sites with one site deleting or add another data because it no longer exists.
