Subject A took 2:05 seconds with music and 1:36 seconds without music. Subject E had 1:51 seconds with music and 3:14 with no music. Subject I had a time of 2:07 seconds for music and 2:09 seconds without music. Overall, 5/15 subjects did better with no music. The other 10/15 subjects finished faster with the music playing. This means that more than half of the subjects did better with music playing in the background. This data shows that most people have a better chance of concentrating and remembering things while listening to music. That means that the hypothesis was accepted. Out of the 15 subjects used, more than half listened to upbeat and happy music. If the subjects would have listened to sad and quiet music, maybe the data would have been different. Some of the people said that the music helped them find the matches in the puzzle where as others said that the music made it hard for them to concentrate. So perhaps the results depended if the person likes to listen to music or would rather work in
