There are two SMART goals that I would like to like to accomplish within the next thirty days. The first goal is to learn how to ship items using our computer software. The second goal is to learn how to receive shipment into the system using our computer software. The goal that I want to reach is being able to fill in for employees that are assigned these roles when they are not available on the job site. These goals will enhance my abilities to help my employees and improve the processes that they use on a daily basis. The primary goal is to be able to lead from any role that I fill within the warehouse operation and keep the processes flowing when my key employees are unavailable. The secondary goal will be to provide feedback to the software developers to make the processes more user friendly and less prone to glitches. The

It is important but not critical that I learn this process because all of the shipments begin at this point. I will set aside 5 hours per week to learn the receiving process. To develop this skill, I will work with my receiving clerk to learn the process of receiving shipments into the computer system and prepare the equipment for shipment. I will work side by side with my receiving clerk to learn the process and release equipment for manifest on a shipping order.
