I took the time to go out and ask the DOA Pro Staff members to rate these five things (quality, customer service, body style, shipping, and paint style) in order from what they thought DOA did the best. As you can see everyone appreciates the product but almost everyone agrees that the shipping and handling could use improvement.
Resources Needed
The resources needed for implementing this are a computer system for tracking all the activity and information that comes up on a day-to-day basis. There will also need to be some sort of tracking system put into place for the product inventory. For example, the Radio Frequency Identification or RFID, which uses a chip to show product information, such as manufacturer, type, and serial number to a scanner. This new technology is better to use than bar codes in several ways. A scanner reads the information from an RFID, making it ideal for tracking items in a warehouse.

In order to put the new process in affect there will have to be several hours of re organizing and training. The schedule consist of taking all the paper work and information and putting it into the computer, training the employees to the new inventory system,…show more content… You would also have to pay the employees the hours they used for training, and gathering all the information for the new system. You could have training for the employees a couple different ways. You could have everyone come to work early or have the employees stay late in order to learn the new system. To do this you would have to pay the employees overtime prices for the time they are there before or after actual work hours.
