For as long as I could remember, becoming a nurse has been the ultimate career goal; I found Beth especially interesting because not only is she a nurse but she is also still attempting to further herself and become a midwife. As you could tell, I am well educated on the topic of nursing due to the fact that it has always been something I’ve wanted to do and I really enjoyed shadowing nurses when I volunteered. I know the schooling requirements and I’m well aware of how competitive nursing programs are; each nurse I have contacted tells me how much they enjoy their career and wake up each day actually looking forward to their jobs. The best thing about nursing is the fact that you are not restricted to one specific age group or care facility.
