Nursing theoretical perspectives are organized and systematic set of statements related to questions in the nursing discipline. The Family Ecological theory states that human development is influenced by the environment. Lives and choices of families are affected by the economy, education, religion, and culture. The family ecology perspective assists nurses in the diagnosis and formation of the treatment plan. Most of the illnesses treated are linked to the environment such as cancer, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, etc. The family ecology model is prominent in research and political discussion and debate (Bubolz & Sontag, 1993).
