A meal for a 9 month old
Breakfast: A drink of diluted orange juice, toast with butter and Weetabix with formula milk.
How to present breakfast for a 9 month old baby
The toast would be presented by cutting them into triangles and will be served on a peppa pig plate, the diluted orange juice will be presented in a fairy cup with hands on the side and a teat. The 9 month old would sit in a high chair next to their mum or dad so that they do not fall out, hurt themselves or choke.
How the breakfast meets the nutritional needs for a 9 month old baby
The nutrients in the toast are Carbohydrates which are located in the muscles and in the liver and Protein which can be found in the cell membranes, in the cytosol, in organelles and in the bloodstream. Carbohydrates provide energy for the body and Protein helps the body grow and repair cells. The nutrients in Butter are Fats which are found underneath your skin and also they are some on top of each of your kidneys fats provide energy for the body. The nutrients in the formula milk are Calcium which are found in your bones and teeth and Fat which are found underneath your skin and also they are some on top of each of your kidneys. Calcium is good for the teeth and bones and Fat which provides energy for the body. The nutrients in Weetabix are Carbohydrates which are located in the muscles and in the liver, Protein which can be found in the cell membranes, in the cytosol, in organelles and in the bloodstream and Iron which can be found in a Protein called haemoglobin in your red blood cells.
