Analysis I have never been good at sticking to a healthy diet and always tended to fall under the malnutrition category. Weightlifting sparked a trend with eating healthy and attempting to get all the vitamins my body needed but the commitment was never fully there. I’m not going to lie and say that this class made me completely and 100 percent change my diet for the better but looking through my logged food information I can honestly say that I am proud of the way I have been eating. I was misinformed on a lot of the information I had compiled throughout the years of a “correct” diet for example I personally always thought I drank enough water but according to the book, 6 cups of water was the recommended amount of water to be drunk. Its little bits of information like that that compelled me to study deeper into nutrition. After taking this class I realized that it is in almost everyone’s best interest to study up on nutrition, the earlier the better. I say earlier because as humans age more and more nutrition habits are needed. It is amazing to me the effect nutrition has on the body. Just by eating too much sugar and being inactive is a contributing factor to type 2 diabetes. While I was taking this class and eating healthier I noticed how much better I felt in terms of not being as sleepy and it was easier to work out. I also noticed that while a lot of people were getting sick I was doing quite alright.
