Political cartoons can be a graphic rise that affords complication and diverting insights into the inn spirit and posture into the public mood and attitude toward key political events or trends of different generations. Regardless of what party you are representing Democratic or Republican, public cartoons can provide humor mood but can also provide vigorous opinions and can shed light on how disunited we are as a country. The implications of the artist’s beliefs are fairly simple, and can be easily decoded. First, the ideal of President Obama diving into a pool full of sharks labeled “Healthcare” indicates that Obama’s health care plan is a dangerous move for Obama and has the potential to fail. The banner on the top left side of the cartoon that says “The Amazing Obama” shows that the artist is a supporter of Obama and his healthcare plan, but in contrast to some viewers this could be a simple message of sarcasm from the artist who does not think Obama is amazing. In our country everyone is entitled to their own beliefs and the artist provides a vivid picture of this by showing 2 different groups on each side of the healthcare pool symbolized as donkeys on the left and an elephants on the right. The group on the left which are represented by the donkeys seems to be happy and amazed with Obama and the health care decision, on the other hand the group on the right which is symbolized as elephants are skeptical and unhappy with Obama’s health care plan. The artist shows that even with Obama trying to improve health care, political parties have different
