A hero is in every shape and form, which lies throughout many stories and or movies.
A hero can be someone very important
“Beowulf” and “Odyssey” we see these characters acting and doing what a hero is to their people and the things they have gone throughout their stories to the people.
A hero, is brave; courageous but more importantly shows intelligence.
When we refer to someone as a hero it means that they aren’t afraid to step up and perceive to be in the wrong, regardless of the situation they achieve greatness for their kindness and courage toward others.

I believe for one to be considered a hero and one is not because one does good deeds but also physical prowess, great courage, overcoming enormous obstacles and saving people’s lives

Odysseus is considered a hero throughout odyssey in both significant and insignificant ways with the addition of intelligence and enduring, is what helps him regain his kingdom.
Odysseus is loyal, compassionate, but also cunning.
Odysseus shows all traits of what a hero show like loyalty, compassion, and even cunning but also being smart.
As Odysseus said, “Friends, have we never been in danger before this? More fearsome, is it now, then when we faced Cyclops?"
This quote shows the danger Odysseus is willing to put his life in jeopardy and does not give up no matter the situation.
“I am no god. Why liken me to the deathless ones?
No, I am your father, on whose account you have suffered
Many pains and endured the violence of men.”
This show how his character is a godlike figure and is a hero to his people.
Odysseus and Beowulf are two heroes in my opinion for what they’ve done for their people but the ending of Odysseus that people had to die questions my outtake of it but either way going through it makes him a heroic figure for completing his
