In the epic, The Odyssey, Odysseus and his man are faced with the task of getting off the island with the Cyclops, Polyphemus. Odysseus develops a plan to get off the island, with the help of his men. This story can be compared to an event in my life. The escaping of the cyclops is like playing high school soccer because it requires a plan of action, the skill and talent to pull it off.

Playing soccer is like escaping the Cyclopes because it requires a plan. In soccer we had to one up with a game plan to score more than goals then the other team.
