In life we all want justice. We do not like when someone does something injustice because they are doing wrong things. In this essay i will talk about the novel Oedipus Rex and i will describe the injustice things he did as a king. I will also talk about how creon did the right thing. although , oedipus was the king of thebes he was injustice in many ways. He was injustice because it was him who killed his own father. In the novel Oedipus said that he would kill the person who killed the previous king. Oedipus wanted revenge without even having a clue that he was the one who killed the king. Many people came and told him what h had done and also told him that his parents were not his real parents that his real parents were king laius and queen jocasta. Oedipus was injustice because although many gods told him about his fate he still did not believe them. His injustice went too far when he tried to kill the prophet tirasias. Tirasias went to talk to oedipus about his fate and all what oedipus did was get mad and tried to kill him too. Oedipus did not think straight on what he was doing. In other words, oedipus tragic flaw was his pride. He did not believe in anything a person would tell him because he had too much pride. He was injustice again when he told creon that he wanted him out of his palace, because oedipus though creon was betraying him what creon was really doing was that he was trying to help oedipus find the king's murder. In the other hands, creon was justice because even that oedipus had treat him bad he still took care of her daughters.
