A hero is known by many readers as a knight in shining armor or by saving the world. A hero in own words best described as, an idol or influence that one can change anything. Tragic Hero by Oedipus Tyrannus us considered one of the most understanding story that involves influence and judgment. The influence that kept Oedipus going was his wife and children. Oedipus stated that the city burns with pungent spice. Healing hyms echo the sounds of suffering (CH 2.2) Oedipus was feared by many due to his ruling of the city but to others was considered as a hero. His weakness within in the story is relying to Creole for advice in which was the result of purging the city due to the violence and corruption it carries. With the lack of detail within that part of the story, determining in what was the motive of individuals that promoted violence within the city and was there a mastermind within the plot. One area that wasn’t discussed within the report, which involved with the Queen Jocasta committing suicide and Oedipus, was not aware until the messenger informed him on the tragic loss. An example, within the story and this would give him the title of tragic king; there was a messenger that brought news that the queen was dead. How Oedipus interpreted the message was an automatically assume that Queen Jocasta was murdered. A double misery: a husband from her husband, and children from her child (CH2.10). Meaning that the children were cursed and the children that the Queen conceived were cursed, which the Queen died and didn’t want to deal with the pain and suffering. Of course the Oedipus was trying to get the city to speak up why she died. He was accepting guilt for her death due to the violence that occurred within the city, engulfing fear and agony throughout the city including affecting the Queen and
