The taking of another life is so turned away from in our modern society, it is thought that euthanasia shouldn't be a thing at all, but unfortunately, we are wrong. In my opinion, life should be a matter of choice, one shouldn't be forced to prolong a life that isn't worth living. Yes, there are those who are able to overcome the steep boundaries set in front of them, but not everyone has the strength to do so. Sometimes the pain is too much and the disease is too much irremediable. Assisted killing should be legal because the patients cannot tolerate the pain anymore. Hospitals should be allowed to help someone end their misery. Given the opportunity, government officials should allow mentally ill people to take prescriptions. Americans should take pleasure in a right guaranteed in the European declaration of human rights. The right not to be forced to suffer. It should be considered as an unlawful act to make someone live who with justification does not wish to continue living as it is to take a life without their approval.
Everyone has a right to decide when they want to end their life. The quality becomes to worsen they will feel more physical and emotional pain. Today’s hospitals are overcrowded, those who want to be put to sleep can be. That way a patient with a curable disease can be cured.
