It says that when someone tries their best and uses determination to tell themselves that they will succeed, they will not fail. Og Mandino’s quote is better than John Wooden’s quote. This is due to the fact that John Wooden’s quote puts pressure of making mistakes on someone to justify that they are doing something. It also sounds as though, in my opinion, he is positive that he is correct therefore he will argue with anyone who says he is not.
