“If it doesn’t fit, you must acquit.” (Johnnie Cochran). This is the most memorable quote from the OJ Simpson trial, but was acquitting Simpson the right decision? OJ Simpson married Nicole Brown on February 2, 1985. Nicole was 18 and OJ was 30 and on the verge of being introduced into the NFL Hall of Fame. OJ and Nicole were married, until she filed for divorce in 1992 after a long marriage of jealousy and abuse. The divorce was finalized on October 15, 1992. Two years later on June 12, 1994, Nicole was found stabbed to death outside of her home in Brentwood, CA. Also found dead was Nicole’s friend Ron Goldman, who was a model and a waiter. Simpson was instantly blamed for the double homicide and charged with the murders. After attempting suicide and running from the police, Simpson voluntarily surrendered to police on June 17, 1994. The trial for the case was known as the “Trial of the Century” and lasted for eight months. After a long eight months and analyzing countless evidence against OJ Simpson, the Jury found him innocent of the double homicide, but that was the wrong callOJ Simpson is guilty in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman because the blood evidence points back to him and he has an extensive history of abusing Nicole.

OJ Simpson is responsible for the homicide because he maltreated Nicole and the blood evidence leads back to him. OJ Simpson was an abusive person and was set off easily, he took his anger out on other people and Nicole was an innocent victim of his rage. Simpson’s blood was found next to both bodies and both of the victim's’ blood were found in OJ’s estate making fingers point at him.
