This would include hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and some other types of unhealthy food. This caused him not to be healthy, due to the fact of never eating any vegetables, or fruits. Food brings together everyone on the table by being the centerpiece of the conversations, helps people learn about the food, and the person cooking it. (Rathbone)”
Food brings people and families together because food gets them into the kitchen together, makes them get closer as a family, they can make a connection with the family, this can also help with the behavior of the children. This means the process of food preparing helps teach people the toughness of things, and teaches confidences, and the value of accomplishment. This generation needs to realize that the kids need to learn valuable lessons, and they build character (Rathbone). Connecting with the family has happened in many households, this way it helps families connect, and the family was always up to date about what is going on in the family. Rathbone stated, “that is the past, but it needs to happen again. Having the family, people, and others connect through food helps better the culture. Cultures will flourish again because of the different foods, and ways of cooking being brought into the cultures by other people. This helps bring out different flavors, and possibly even create its own culture.” What has happened in the past needs to happen again so the food and culture can flourish again
