Founded in 1995, eBay has become the world's largest place to buy or sell virtual any imaginable item a person could desire. The mission of eBay is provide a global trading platform where practically anyone can trade practically anything. There is no retail store for eBay is a internet store where sellers seller their items and them ship directly to the buyer's home. To become a seller on eBay, you first must create an eBay account and a PayPal account. When the seller has created an account then they can upload a picture along with a description of their item they are wanting to sell. The seller can decide whether to include a “Buy It Now ”tap. With the “Buy It Now” it will allow the buyer to purchase the item before the auction actually ends for a certain price set by the seller. If the buyers decide to place a bid on an item, then they wait for the auction to end and see if the sellers wishes to accept their bid on their item. There are advantages and disadvantages to eBay. One of the advantages is you can sell to to people from all over the world. Another is you can get almost anything you want or need at prices that abetter then a traditional brick and mortal store.
