Bugs are about apart of life. Even bugs in a computer is a part of life. Obviously thought the bug in the computer is MUCH more different than the one in the outside world. Although to be precise a software bug is an error, flaw, failure, or fault in a computer program or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways.
Even though that was the literal definition. The word bug in computer terms can be traced back to September 9th, 1947. “At 3:45 p.m., Grace Murray Hopper records the first computer bug in her log book as she worked on the Harvard Mark II. The problem was traced to a moth stuck between a relay in the machine, which Hopper duly taped into the Mark II's log book with the explanation: “First actual case of bug being found” (This Day In History, 2015).
Although today’s bugs are MIGHTY different from what they were when the first computers came about. Today’s bugs are an error, flaw, failure, or fault in a computer program or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways. What’s interesting is that something I will never admit too which is, most bugs arise from mistakes and errors made by people in either a program's source code or its design, or in frameworks and operating systems used by such programs, and a few are caused by compilers producing incorrect code.
