After reading the article “Opinion: “Black Panther” redefines and expands the narrative of superheroes,” my thoughts were as follows; the author’s views on how few black people are portrayed in films where incorrect. For example the Falcon (Avengers), Cyborg (Justice League), Finn (Star wars), Nick Fury (Avengers), Darth Vader (Star Wars), Heimdall (Thor) All mainstream movies with black roles. All of my evidence contradicts the Author when he says “there have been few black characters in sci-fi or fantasy films” Mostly though I agree that the general public needs black panther right now.
