Earlier in the semester my goal was to better my writing by communicating with others. To help achieve this goal I went to professional help by visiting tutors on campus. Honestly I have realized there is still much to be done for me to fully achieve this goal of mine. The setbacks I have encounter from time and time again have been my thinking process. As I write my papers my thought process goes blank at times and hurts the quality of my paper. I can only say I have met half way towards my goal to better myself as a writer.
Oprah Winfrey has been known throughout the world for her generous contributions, but one thing stood out that was intriguing was her struggles. Oprah Winfrey had gone through a rough childhood that changed her as a person. Learning about the struggles changed my perspective of how I viewed Winfrey, not only caring but why she does what she does. I know this semester I had struggles but nothing comparable as Winfrey of course.

From what I have learned about Winfrey she has gone through a rough past when going growing up. If not from the guidance of her mentors Winfrey may have not gotten to where she is today. Oprah Winfrey has helped many people from time to time but more important would have a message she always want to give to everyone.
The advice Oprah Winfrey would have given anyone specifically is by helping others you’ll be helping yourself. All through Winfrey life she has been helping others by giving them opportunities. With these opportunities she has provided the tools for others to succeed like her by education. Writing about Oprah Winfrey has helped me realized what goals I have achieved and how I applied my student learning goals this semester through my research
