Activity, Outcome, Progress Report:

B. Sandra will Improve self esteem and create new positive relationships that will be supportive of her and her family.

I. Today I worked with Sandra in a family session to assist her in understanding how her choices affect other family members. I asked Sandra’s mother to read a short story where one person made a choice that affected both the immediate characters as well as other people. Next I asked Sandra to participate in a role play acting out the part of the person who made the wrong choice and got another person into trouble. I reviewed with Sandra the points of the story and asked her to tell me a family situation when individual choices affected someone in the family.
.
R. Sandra cooperated by listening to the story read by her mother. She willingly participated in the role play but needed prompts to develop words to say when it was her turn to speak. Sandra identified a situation with her brothers that caused a family problem saying when her brothers climbed a snow mountain and fell down it cause their mom to worry that they could get hurt because the snow mountain is very close to a busy street. Sandra could not identify any choices that she made that affected others and typically blames her brothers for all the family struggles.

P. Sandra was achieved some of her goals today by overcoming shyness and timidity in role playing. She understands the choices made affect others, but is unwilling to express choices she makes at times as creating conflict.

Identified Risks: No new issues.

I. Sandra and I met today reviewing who consequences belong to, feelings that come from making good choices and receiving good consequences, recalling making a bad choices and emotions that come with that, as well as role playing two scenes when a girl “borrows” clothing from her mom, spills on hit, hides it, lies about it and the consequences that could come from such a choice. We also role played a scene when a girl was supposed to babysit her brothers
