What is my purpose? My purpose in life is to be happy and successful. I want to wake up every day with a positive outlook on life and a positive mindset. My purpose is to help change the way people view life, not mentally but visually. When it comes to my education, I want to graduate college with a doctorates degree in biomedical science. With this degree I wish to pursue my dream of becoming an Optometrist.
My personal long term goal is to live life sufficiently. This goal is important to me because it reminds me that happiness can be reached with the right motivation and attitude. As a child, my mother taught me that negativity will never help me become successful; she also taught me that through happiness and a positive attitude I will always is reach my goals. Although some situations can have a negative or positive result, I always prefer to focus more on the positive. In my opinion, living in a world where negativity surrounds you it is always best to stay a positive.
My long term educational goal is to graduate college with a doctorates degree in biomedical sciences. I would like to stay at Valencia College for two years and then transfer to the UC Berkeley School for Optometry which is rated number one in

I want to become an optometrist because I want to change the way people visually view the world. I personally have to wear glasses and contacts, so I am aware of the disadvantages of poor vision. I want to prevent people from facing the same struggles I have: getting foggy glasses, red itchy eyes from contact lenses, and broken glasses. One reason why I want to become an optometrist is because although I will be a doctor I will still have time for myself and family. I am very family-oriented and would like to balance my job and personal life. Respect is another reason why I would like to become an optometrist.
