Ordinary Superhero What is a hero to YOU? Is it someone with superpowers or fancy suits? Is it somebody who you watch on TV, YouTube, or listen to on the radio? Is it someone you know and appreciate? When I envision of my hero, a celebrity figure or superhero doesn’t pop into my head, but somebody who is very special to me. This person helps me and is probably the most extraordinary person ever. That person is my mom. I have admired her every day since I can remember. I know my mom isn’t popular or well-known. But my mom is my hero because she is compassionate, courageous, and wise. One trait that makes my mom a hero is compassion. She always knows how to cheer me up. She always loves me and takes care of me, no matter what. She is one of …show more content…
I can’t say that she is fearless, no one is, but she isn’t afraid of doing the right thing. Whenever someone needs defending, whether a family member or a friend, she always will defend them and stand by their side. She isn’t afraid to say what needs to be said to someone, and she doesn’t sugarcoat facts to make them seem all right if they are not. Nevertheless, there’s still something more to my hero.

Another trait that forms this exceptional hero is wisdom, and my mom has plenty of it. She always helps me out with problems that she might have faced and had given me advice on how to do something better. She always gives me valuable bits of advice that I can use at that time or in the near future. Plus, she can always help me figure out how I can do something greater, based on things she might have done when she was my age. I can always depend on wisdom from her. All in all, my mom is a hero, but not just a regular hero, she is an ordinary superhero to me. She has a loving heart, is brave, and has been around the block a few times, so, what is a hero to you?
