“Society exists only as a mental concept; in the real world there are only individuals,” this was Oscar Wilde’s method of notifying people of the significance of keeping their individuality. Although many things people either do or project define them as individuals, a huge portion of how they are perceived by others, at first sight, is by the way they dress. Seeing as many schools have decided to take that choice away from their students, it makes it easier for them to lose their individuality. Even though this may be a method of uniting the students and lowering the bullying rate by eliminating a factor that students could be judged on, there are other ways of going about this.

To begin with, rather than prevent bullying, uniforms have an
