Otzi the iceman is an over five thousand year old corpse, still well preserved to this day. Many believe that his death could be from hypothermia, a fight, a robbery, assassination, and much more. Since people many people don't have enough evidence to decide which theory is correct, Otzi's death is still a historical secret that needs to be solved.

Personally, I believe that the secret to Otzi the iceman's death is assassination. He had a hole in his shoulder, which was probably from someone trying to kill him. Scientists have found out that his injury was most likely from an arrow. Perhaps, someone could've been trying to murder him and the person had shot him from a distance. That way would've meant he could have been assassinated.

Researchers found out that Otzi didn't expect the arrow coming, and people usually would not fight with a bow and arrow. Also, if Otzi was killed in a battle, the person who won probably would have taken his valuable mushrooms and copper axe. Since research says that Otzi could've died from bleeding too much, after he got shot he could have killed the other person as he was slowly dying. That would not make sense though, because if another person was killed, people probably would have found their body too. Overall, I think that Otzi the iceman's death was from assassination, rather than a battle.

In conclusion, I think that the secret of Otzi the iceman's death could be from assassination. Otzi was found with an injury from an arrow in his shoulder; which ruled out the theory of him dying in a battle, he carried a copper axe; which meant he could be a leader and someone could've tried to end his reign, and valuable mushrooms; which someone could've been trying to steal. My theory could be close to the correct answer but for now, Otzi's death still continues to be a
