Our Valuable Hearts In Brian Doyle’s essay “Joyas Voladoras”, he explains hearts of many different creatures, including us. He talks about how hummingbirds go into torpor and that blue whales have the biggest hearts in the world. At the end of the book, Doyle says our heart is very fragile, and sorrow can cause us to end joy. Doyle's Message is all hearts, big or small are important, so cherish them.
