Becoming a critical thinker and a problem solver can make decision easy for you in the future. In AAD 102, we were put in groups to create a 50 minutes presentation for class. Each group objective was to teach the class about their chapter in the book. By creating this learning lesson, its objective was to make the student become critical thinker and problem solvers. These two skills can make you college years and your future become a little easier. Critical thinker is design to engage in reflective and independent thinking. Next Step is to analyze new ideas and relate them to other concepts. From analyzing, you must then synthesis. Synthesis is asking question to improve other skills and combine parts to create new information. Finally, the last step to becoming a critical thinker is evaluating the information. This step may take the longest to grasp. This skills allows you to make judgments and evaluate an information to make the positive decision. By learning these new positive skills from becoming a critical thinker, we can apply those skills to become a better problem solver. In class, we were put into groups to playing a problem solving game from the group power-point. Each group receive a sheet of paper dealing with problem solving and critical thinking. Our objective was to unscramble words and connect all of the nine dots within this square box. My group were very successful with the exercise. We later then consulted with the class and gave our results from the exercise. From this lesson I learn some skills in order for me to become a better problem solver.
