Flashcards can be a useful way to learn to recognize parasites. To make flashcards from this file, print the following slides on a color printer, preferably using cardstock paper. Cut along the lines, and you will have representative images of all the parasites in the atlas. On the back of the cards, write the information you are required to know about each parasite, e.g., genus, species, common name, stage of development, geographic distribution, intermediate and reservoir hosts, associated disease, methods of control, prevention, and treatment, immune interactions, etc. You may also want to include a simple life cycle diagram, like those used in the atlas.
