Welcome to Parkley. Our city is located over a system of caverns, for our waste management system. We're in Utah. The climate is mostly sunny with 15.31in. of rain per year. The temperature is about 80 degrees and the weather is very lovely for flying kites, picnics, and sailing. It also makes good farming land because it’s mostly flat and right next to a big river that leads to an ocean. This geography Is perfect for adding buildings and leaves plenty of room for more. Parkley is a beautiful city that is expected to be visited by many, and has plenty of features to keep it alive.
Parkley owns wind turbines and an underground pipe system. With a wind power of 10 mph we can get power from the wind. The underground pipe system holds acid to dispose of garbage. Trash is created when you throw something away-- like apple cores, bottles, or empty boxes. Some people don’t realize how wasteful it is to throw some certain things away. When you throw something away it is then put into a dumpster, where it will be collected by garbage trucks. The garbage trucks take the trash to a transfer station which can lead to a dump. While at a transfer station the trash can be taken to an incinerator to make heat energy. However, it trash be separated to find recyclable materials. This happens when a machine splits it up into four different categories; paper, glass, plastic, and metals. Trash can also be taken to a landfill which doesn’t pollute the environment. With these options of taking care of trash, we understand recycling more. Even though some people think there is nothing good about waste, there are.
