I have always loved Language Arts. I have always been infatuated with anything that had to do with books, writing, grammar, and more. My writing has essentially always been superior to most of my peers, mostly because I am passionate about writing. I always try my best in my writing assignments, even if they contain dull and unnecessary topics my past teachers have chosen for me to write about.
My past Language Arts teachers were accustomed to giving out very unnecessary topics to write my essays on. They also gave specific essay outlines that I had to pursue so that all essays in the class were almost identical. I believe I am an independent writer and I choose to start my essays from scratch. This allows me to make my essays stand out from everyone elses. I also prefer to choose topics I enjoy writing about so that I am extremely passionate about the subject. I enjoy writing narratives because I can have my own ideas. Thereś more room for my own creativity in narratives compared to other writing. I also appreciate writing argumentative essays because it is mostly about my own opinion. In other types of writing, such as informative, my own opinion is not acceptable. In argumentative writing, I can share my own opinion and thoughts with the reader. Argumentative also includes finding evidence to support my claim. I am not entirely sufficient with this skill but practicing finding evidence helps my improvement. My least favorite type of writing is informative writing. In informative writing, it is strictly about what the information explains. I am informing the reader about a certain subject which is something I do not choose to. I love to share my own opinion and thoughts with the reader. In informative writing, there is no room for interpretation or creativity. There is a strict way to write informative essays which I do not care
