1. What motivated you to apply for this position? A number of personal goals incentivized me to seek the Marketing Writer & Editor position at PatientPoint. Furthermore, I have the common sense to know that any and all portions of the health-care industry are ever-changing and job opportunities often arise. These jobs are both demanding and challenging, yet I am sure they are rewarding. I seek new opportunities and challenges in this dynamic industry. Writing, marketing and all forms of communication greatly encompass my work history. I accept any challenge that demands I engage and motivate individuals to do something by using words and headlines. Lastly, I am always looking for self-improvement opportunities.
2. What is your desired compensation for this role? I am truly flexible, and my salary is negotiable. Based on my experience, the mistakes I’ve made and learned from, the successes I have had and my willingness to work 50+ hours a week, I’d like $48,000/year.
3. Where would you like to yourself, career-wise, in five years? I would enjoy a management role that allows me to continue my career path with PatientPoint. The experience I would gain, married with my past work history, would greatly serve the company, my colleagues and those I might mentor.

What do you enjoy most about editing and writing? Crafting persuasive content that captures and keeps the attention of my target audience is the most rewarding aspect of writing. I don’t always know how engaging my written words are, but I have one copywriting award that stated readers found my ad to be the most engaging in an issue. This was, of course, a team effort with the designer. I have also written large feature stories. As for editing, my attention to detail is high.
