In the fifth chapter of Signs and Wonders by Paul Alexander, the author talks about the importance of stories with Pentecostals. The author says that Pentecostals tell stories not only to share what’s going on in their lives good or bad, but it can be encouraging to others and to themselves. The author even says that the Bible is basically a whole bunch of stories that work together to make one ongoing bigger story, and Pentecostals believe that they are a part of that bigger story. Most Pentecostals believe that they are a continuation of the book of Acts, they are the next chapter in that book and so they continue to perform miracles and spread the gospel.
