Paul McCartney: The Contributing Quarryman
As a supporter of over 40 charities, Paul McCartney has always stood up and acted to make other people's lives better (“Paul McCartney: Charity Work & Causes”). Born in June 1942, Paul McCartney is a 75 year old musician and has been for over 60 years. He is extremely well known for his inclusion in musical groups such as The Quarrymen, The Beatles, and Paul McCartney and Wings in which he plays bass, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, piano, and is well known for his vocals (“Biography.com”). Paul’s most well known songs include “Hey Jude,” “Let It Be,” and “Band on the Run”. Paul McCartney has performed numerous concerts to raise money for charities like PETA, an animal rights group who want animals to be treated more ethically. Paul McCartney is generously acting to help people by raising lots of money and going out of his way to make other people’s lives better.

This organization’s main purpose is to fight for animal rights and “save animal lives every year from cruelty, animal fighting and natural disasters” (Paul McCartney, Rockstar and Animal Advocate, Serves Only Vegan Food At Recent Concert!). The Humane Society tries to fix these problems in the world by taking people or companies who abuse animals or use them for inhumane purposes to court. Paul definitely shows his support for animal rights by giving animals in animal shelters appropriate homes. He has even taken up the vegetarian lifestyle and promotes No Meat Mondays to his fans to further show his support for animal rights. He is overall a huge supporter of animals’ rights and does a lot of acts to prove
