Talk about 3rd rail
During this person’s feedback they have given a really positive reaction to my work by circling the positive descriptions for my campaign on her questionnaire. This really helps me to gain a perspective to how they may have enjoyed it and therefore my specific target group may as well. In order to help my improve, I encouraged those taking the questionnaires to give me some criticism which was constructive to allow me to improve on a few aspects. Something which came up was when I was discussing the third rail. Essentially, the third rail is an additional rail supplying electric current, used in some electric railway systems which can be very dangerous. I needed to establish exactly what this is in order to full explain to my audience the dangerous of railways.

Explain 3rd rail
The 2nd questionnaire also provided me with some amazing feedback. However, ‘challenged’ was circled and therefore indicates to me I may need to tone done the slides to be a little bit more personal and easier to understand by my audience. Again, the improvement I could work on was to explain the 3rd rail, what it was, who it may affect and what the dangers are.

Talk about how to cross a road
How to use level crossings
The 3rd questionnaire filled in consisted of all positive reactions and gave me a really good sense that my promotion may be prefect for my audience. Their advice was to talk more in-depth about how to cross the road safety and go into how level crossings by be crossed easily. I feel the first piece of advice may be ineffective as I believe my audience of teenagers already know how to cross the road, but perhaps just a little reminder may aid them in their education. In regard to the level crossing, I aim to play different videos about level crossings and show them how not to cross them and advise them to be patient with them as they’re not time wasters they’re life savers.

Highlight definitions of road safety

This questionnaire again gave me a really good starting ground for how effective my promotion may be. The improvements I could work on were to high light the definitions of road / rail safety. This would be good, I also placed into the slide asking my audience if they knew or had any definitions of their own about what it means to be safe on the roads and tracks. Effectively, I was asking them to describe what road and rail safety means to them.
