The article “White Privilege” by Peggy McIntosh brought up multiple important facts about racism today. The article was first published in 1988 in the United States. Racism, however, still strong now, was even stronger back then. People of color were demeaned by society and by Caucasians. McIntosh describes white privilege like “an invisible weightless knapsack of special provisions, assurances, tools” … etc. Her definition of white privilege is extremely accurate.
