pennies who uses them? the penny may be worthless to some people and to others the most worthy coin of all. Many different countries have dropped the one cent coin in their country and no major problem has occurred, the countries used the rounding method. By taking out the penny it could save over $600 Million dollars over time. Many americans do not spend the time to pick and give a cashier exact change. Getting rid of the us one cent penny wouldn’t be all to bad to do, many americans would agree with my view.

It cost more money to make a penny than a penny is worth, it cost about 2.8 cents to create one cent (penny). Some people argue that it is not worth the hassle or time to make and distribute pennys. The US Military overseas has stopped the use of pennies and rounds up or down in their on base restaurants, and stores, and no problems has came about by using this method. so how un-american can it be to retire the use of the penny if our own military does not use it.
