As a kid I wasn’t the most fortune , I would have hammy-downs from older brothers. When I was 5yrs. Old my father divorced my mother and left me and brothers fatherless. We would look up to our oldest brother Donald as our father. I was so angry when my dad left. I would sit to myself and think was it my fault he left and why did he leave my mother to take care of 5 boys by herself. Sooner or later I forgave my father and found a sport that I could get rid of my angry. It was 1987 in Boothville, Louisiana, I was 7 years old when I realized I wanted to ball. As a young kid I would watch my older cousins ball everyday. By time I was 9 yrs. Old I grew a couple inches and was able to ball on a dirt court with my older cousins. During my 9th grade year is when I was chosen to be on the Boothville Oilers Varsity team. I was proud of myself because I was given the chance to ball with the older kids. I averaged 12 points per game. During my 11th grade year was be best year in my basketball career. I was known as the best shooter in the parish and in one of my games I scored 48 pts. The crowd was screaming of cheer, the coach was so proud of me that he almost jumped through the roof with happiness. 12th grade year is when I met the most beautiful girl named Ayesha. She was a cheerleader for the Port Sulphur Bronchos and valedictorian for her school. I knew she was the one I was going to marry when we first met each other.
