Music has always been an important part of my life. My first musical experiences were in elementary school, after that, I was desperately in love with music. During high school, I learned two additional instruments, and I joined every music group that I could. I am a member of Women’s/Concert Choir, and am currently the historian for Concert Choir. Additionally, I am in Symphonic/Concert band, and was the historian of Band Council my junior year. I also was in multiple extracurricular music groups throughout all of high school (marching/jazz band).
While I enjoyed being in multiple music ensembles, I also sought out chances to lead among the many leadership opportunities that the music department has. I learned the baritone for marching band
