Becoming a Junior Volunteer

As soon as I graduate highschool, I wish to pursue my dream career in becoming a Nurse Practitioner. I believe that if I was accepted into this program, I believe that I could see what it would be like to work in a hospital environment, gain the proper experience of volunteering, and having my contributions positively impact the way people look at Tomball Regional Medical Center.
The first question asks, “Why do you seek the opportunity to become a TRMC Junior Volunteer?”. I seek the oppurtunity to become a Junior Volunteer because I want to achieve the experience of what it would be like to work in a hospital environment. As stated, I want to be a Nurse Practitioner. Being a Nurse Practitioner, I would have to practically work and live in the hospital. I want to see what it would be like to see the rush of everyday work life, the everyday routine of working in a hospital. I want to watch the Nurses and Doctors and see what they do. I want to help in serving others in the healthcare environment. Hospitals fascinate me in not only the extraordinary care that they provide, but also the way of life that the staff has.

I believe that my contributions to the program will positively impact my connection with the community because I want to help people know that hospitals are not what they think. Most people do not like hospitals, and I wish to help change that.
