Personal experiences can affect our feelings and sometimes cause prejudice. In our legal court system the defendant has civil rights which allow him/her to be dealt with impartial hearing. In the play Twelve Angry Men, Reginald Rose presents us with a case in which a juror feels bad for the culprit which ultimately leads to the jurors declaring him not guilty. I believe that personal feelings are tied into the final fate of that suspect. An example of personal feelings overshadowing the real issue is when the jurors took the first vote.
