Imaginary audience describes a adolescents’ belief that are the focus of everyone’s attention, while personal fable teenagers develop an over-inflated view of their own importance (Berk,2016).It allow them to see themselves in a realistic manner ,and establish meaningful relationships, as they are struggling to separate from their parents (Berk,2016). in addition to enabling the recognition of the different preoccupation between themselves and concerns of others. Personal fable, this belief can actually improve the way a child adjusts to changes or challenges in life and can improve self-worth (Thill,2017).

Idealism and criticism allows adolescents to see other people from both their strengths and weaknesses. In that regard, they will be able to develop lasting relationships from the positivity. For faulty decision making, this will be an opportunity for learning. Learning from

The four identity statuses as identified by James Marcia are foreclosure, identity diffusion, moratorium and identity achievement.

Foreclosure refers to when commitments are made by an individual without looking for possible alternatives. These commitments have a basis on ideas shaped by the parent or beliefs that are accepted without any questioning. Identity diffusion on the other hand refers to when adolescents are unable to develop identity by not making commitments or exploring.
On moratorium, the status of an individual is within a crisis where commitments have been made in a vague manner or are absent but alternatives are explored. Finally, identity achievement is a status that defines individuals who have gone through crisis, explored other identities and made commitments. It is considered as a state of progression from the other identities.
