The time frame is 1675 where the price of Tobacco has considerably dropped and taxes are now being more collected than are due, in the Chesapeake colony of Maryland. Local authorities don’t get along with the towns people and as farming goes they produce high yields of tobacco. I am overviewing as Marcus Bennett who is a 38-year-old tobacco farmer, husband, and father of six children. His farm is larger than average and has rights to four indentured servants. It was a hot summer afternoon as I am working on my fields along with my four sons and four servants. My wife is inside the house along with my two daughters. My farm is pretty big so it requires quite a bit of work. 40 acers to be exact which make it a lot to take care of. My servants are in a okay condition but one of them seems to be really ill but I cannot trust him because he has tried to fool me once. William is always complaining that it is too hot for him to be working in his condition. Max is a pretty fast worker as his strength has been built overtime working for me. Dorothy has been real lax and lazy but manages to get her jobs done in time before the day ends. Jack is also lax but usually works faster than Dorothy. Wickham as he is scamming us with additional taxes that need to be collected from us which has caused us to keep away from our own feed for our pigs. I can also say that I hate him for this because of his well expenses come from our taxes but he is not scary at all. On the other hand, MR Victor Bramlett which is the leading member of the town is very disliked from most to almost all of the people as he has been a ruthless leader to us and as we hate him we also fear him because of the control he has over all of us. He has caused the high tensions between us and the local authorities and everyone else around these
