Personal Narrative: A Career As A Tennis Player

I lived in Colorado for about 11 years however it wasnt untill my sophmore year of high school that I decided to play tennis.I thought it was a great way to socialize and have fun as well.However when I saw the uniform I was instantly wary because it was a short sleeve skirt that bared all my legs and a short sleeve shirt.So I had to wear tights underneath the skirt and a long sleeve shirt underneath the shirt.Mind you that this was in Denver,Colorado where the weather would sometimes be either extremly cold or extremly hot.I remember many times I just felt like it was just too much.It felt as if I was wearing layers after layers.Plus there many times that the players from opposing teams we played would give me weird stares because it was common for them to see a muslim tennis player especially one who was wearing a hijab.Some muslim tennis players would take off there scarfs so they wouldnt face the many obstacles.Another factor that made it hard for me to play tennis was sometimes our matches were on saturdays.Which was diffcult for me to go to because on
