Immediately after the best moments of my life, I almost always have this looped piece of music playing in my head as I replay the events that occurred. Such completely absorbs me to the point that I actually lose track of happenings at the time until something disastrous eventually transpires. The triumphant soundtrack then ceases all of a sudden and all I could hear was the ringing in my ears as well as the thumping of my heart. This quirk is something that developmental psychologists are also guilty of as made evident by their preoccupation with momentous theories and/of the early years of life. The neglect of succeeding periods is further emphasized upon new discoveries of other fields in research who are left to take a stab in the dark
