When I was 15 years old, I was at soccer practice with my teammates and we were running some soccer drills. I was trying to dribble the ball around another player and suddenly, I stepped on the ball, twisted my leg, and broke my tibia and fibula in three locations in my right leg. Luckily, the coach was a practicing physician and calmed me down until the paramedics arrived to bring me the hospital. I had to undergo five hours of surgery so that the doctors could realign the bones and place a titanium rod in my leg that goes from my knee to my ankle.
