Usually I am not the type of person to wake up feeling optimistic about going out with my nutty family. But the day my mother woke me up and told me “get ready we’re going to Six Flags together” I couldn’t help getting out of bed to get ready that morning. My family’s version of quality time is sitting in the same room watching T.V., when we’re not disputing about what to watch. So I couldn’t fight the urge to smile when we got a call to go to the lake after Six Flags. The Day turned out to bring other surprises which is why this particular spontaneous family fun day was a memorable day for me.
