Personal Narrative: A Woman's Basketball Game

For my athletic event, I chose to go to a woman’s basketball game on November 17. I chose this event to attend because there weren’t many other athletic events happening at the time, so this was one of my only options. I also thought that a sporting event taking place inside would be more bearable than one outside. I’d only been to one basketball game before, and I didn’t enjoy it that much. Because of this, I wasn’t exactly expecting to have fun at this game either. A few of my friends came with me, to maybe make the game less boring. There was only around 100 people there, leaving much of the coliseum empty. This itself made the crowd seem unenthusiastic and dull. I thought the game was boring for the most part.
