Today I was brought into the precinct to evaluate a man. This man apparently killed another man. I don’t have all the details, but hopefully I will find out in questioning. If this man is sane, by my rulings he will be charged as any other man. But if seen as insane this man will be sent to a mental institution for his crime. I’ve got to go he is being brought out to me…

This man is a murderer, insane but a murderer. At first the integration started out slow, while he told me his story. He talked about how he took care of this old man, which he had no problem with, but of what the old man’s eye looked like. He did it all for an eye, and I quote a “vulture eye”. People have all different reasons for killing people, but an eye is just absurd.

He told me that he had been planning to kill the old man for weeks, and that every night at 12:00 a.m. He would go into the old man’s room and watch him. At that point I think the man could see the expression on my face, because he then said “I’m not in insane, I know you think I am but I’m not, I went into his room to see if I could pull it off”. After that I was uncomfortable to be in a room with that man, a man who disliked something so small on the old man as to kill him. I really didn’t want to be there
